GAMECO Landing Gear Overhaul Base Sets Home in Qingyuan

   On Sep. 29, 2012, GAMECO, People’s Government of Qingxin County, Qingyuan and Qingyuan Longwan Industry Investment Co., Ltd. signed the Aircraft Landing Gear Overhaul Base Investment Agreement at Qingyuan Intenational Hotel, representing that GAMECO Landing Gear Overhaul Base officially sets home in Qingxin Country, Qingyuan City. GAMECO will register a local branch for construction and operation. 

 Following the tide of rapid civil aviation development and targeting global market, landing gear project is another momentous strategic step for GAMECO to level up the maintenance capacity. ￥200 million will be invested for the Phase I of the project which will take up nearly 70 mu of land (equal to 46.69 hectares) with annual repair capacity of 150 sets covering domestic mainstream aircraft types like B737CL, B737NG, A319/320/321, A330, etc. Capacity for wide-body aircrafts like B777 will be reserved for future development. This project aims at building a first-class domestic landing gear overhaul base to offer one-stop high-quality services to CSN and third-party customers. 

 

     Given convenient transport, healthy investment environment and advanced electroplating fixed-point base, this project eventually settles down in Qingyuan, a city of 80km away from GAMECO headquarters, and also is the first high-tech aviation maintenance project located in Qingyuan, which will give new dynamic to promote local industry upgrade and economic development.
