GAMECO’s Another Milestone at Beijing Daxing International Airport

On Nov 25, GAMECO passed the FAA remote audit of Beijing Daxing Station, successfully having the station listed in the FAA Operations Specifications A101 Additional Fixed Locations. Currently, the company is enabled to start business at Beijing Daxing Station with A003 Ratings and Limitations and D107 Line Maintenance Authorization which was approved in Mar of this year.

 

 

Due to COVID-19, most of foreign authorities adopt desktop audit. Since the company applied for additional fixed location, FAA focused more on facilities as well. Besides document review, GAMECO showed its facilities to FAA auditors through live video for the first time with GAMECO team at Guangzhou headquarters presenting required documents and the Daxing team introducing facilities, tooling and equipment, etc. The close cooperation between GAMECO headquarters and Daxing station made great contribution to the smooth launch of the online audit and won highly praise from FAA auditors.

 

 

 

Beijing Daxing station being approved as an additional fixed location allows GAMECO to undertake some key tasks in Daxing which could only be conducted in Guangzhou previously supported by enough personnel, tools, equipment and material. It also provides customers requiring FAA release or recognizing FAA approval with more flexible choices, builds up solid foundation for both GAMECO and China Southern Airlines in the new strategic pivot of Daxing and further relieves the intensive slot demand in Guangzhou.   With D107 approval, the company is authorized to provide line maintenance service or minor-level periodic check to the listed operators. A101 approval empowers the company to perform base maintenance at Beijing Daxing Station. Obtaining FAA approval for Daxing station facilitates GAMECO to earn more line maintenance business in outstation.

 

 

In the future, as the pandemic mitigates, Beijing Daxing Airport will embrace more and more international airlines.
