Successful Completion of GAMECO Qingyuan Branch’s First Landing Gear Overhaul in House

On February 25, 2019, the first set of B737NG landing gears overhauled in house in Longwan facilities of GAMECO Qingyuan Branch was delivered. Norbert Marx, General Manager, attended the delivery ceremony in Longwan.

 

After the Longwan facilities got the maintenance approvals from    FAA and CAAC, it started the overhaul of the first set of NG landing gears (B-5420) on December 10, 2018. With the joint efforts of different departments for more than 2 months, the in-house overhaul of the landing gears was finished on schedule and the landing gears were released successfully on February 22, 2019.

 

The successful completion of the first landing gear overhaul in house is a crucial step for Qingyuan Branch to build up its one-stop landing gear overhaul service.   It not only demonstrates the production efficiency and business level improvement of Qingyuan Branch, but also lays a solid foundation for the comprehensive in-house overhaul in the future.
