GAMECO Shantou C Check Line Putting into Operation

On February 20, 2019, GAMECO held the launching ceremony of  its Shantou C check line in hangar of China Southern Airlines Shantou Branch.

 

 At present, the GAMECO Shantou production line delivers C check service for B737NG. In the future,  Shantou base will also provide C check service for A320 and there will be two C check lines covering B737NG and A320 simultaneously.

 

 The  operation of the C check line in Shantou can reasonably and efficiently integrate the maintenance resources of the whole  maintenance system, help to relieve the  slot pressure, and better support the scheduled checks of China Southern Airlines.

 

 Since 2002, GAMECO has carried out maintenance projects in Henan, Hunan, Xinjiang and Shenzhen maintenance units of China Southern Airlines in succession. C checks for nearly 200 ea aircrafts have been completed at these outstations, which has provided great support for China Southern Airlines scheduled checks, promoted the deep maintenance capacity building of local aircraft maintenance units and achieved the win-win situation.
