FAA Font Line Manager’s First Visit to GAMECO
July 20, 2018
On July 20, the FAA LAX IFO office front line manager paid a courtesy visit to GAMECO accompanied by the FAA specialist from Beijing office. As the head of the GAMECO FAA principal inspectors, his visit to GAMECO and other major MROs in the Asian-Pacific region is for better understanding of their operation and management, which is also the first visit to our facilities since GAMECO has been the FAA approved air agency in approximate 30 years.
In the visit meeting, the FAA front line manager listened to GAMECO quality manager’s presentation of GAMECO’s profile, and then he introduced how FAA assigns inspectors and adjusts the audit frequency based on the risk level of a repair station, introduced the inspector rotation scheme and standard of inspector conduct. He had also prepared the leaflets in advance and shared the FAA commitment and the principle of management with each attendee, conveying the FAA's deep dedication to promote the industry’s development.
Face-to-face communication is always the most effective way to understand each other. This visit greatly enhances the mutual understanding between the FAA and GAMECO, and will certainly boost our expansion in the international market.
