Lufthansa Technik Signs GTA with GAMECO for Deutsche Lufthansa AG A380 Long-Term Maintenance

Recently, GAMECO and Lufthansa Technik AG has signed a long-term aircraft maintenance agreement for A380 aircraft. This is the first cooperation between the two parties in the aircraft overhaul and painting business.

By the end of 2018, GAMECO will perform C check and painting for four Lufthansa A380 in total; at the same time, both parties will confirm the A380 overhaul in the next four years.

Lufthansa has always had high requirements and high standards for MROs. The signing of this long-term contract fully reflects Lufthansa's recognition of GAMECO's maintenance capabilities and quality, and further expands GAMECO's market share in Europe. At the same time, it also helps to improve the utilization of GAMECO Phase III hangar in the future.

In 2016, Airbus endorsed GAMECO as "A380 Center of Excellence in China", in recognition of the outstanding MRO work performed by GAMECO on the China Southern A380 fleet. GAMECO’s Phase III hangar with A380 slot is currently under preparation for construction and  expected to be put into use by the end of 2021.
