Announcement: GAMECO Top Management Change

On 22nd December 2016, Mr. Li Tongbin, EVP of China Southern Airlines Limited and Chairman of the Board of Directors of GAMECO, announced the appointment of Mr Wang Gang to the position of Deputy General Manager of GAMECO. He will follow Mr. Wu Rongxin, who held his position since 2011 and was recently assigned to the position of General Manager Planning & Investments of China Southern Airlines Group.

Mr. Wang Gang is 48 years and holds a master degree in engineering from BUAA (Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics) majoring in aerospace manufacturing engineering and an EMBA degree from College of Economics & Management of Tsinghua University. In the past he held several management positions at China Southern Airlines, including the position of Deputy General Manager for Quality Assurance. Since 2009 Mr. Wang was Deputy General Manager of MTU Zhuhai. He is an active member of the Communist Party of China and took responsibilities as Vice Party Secretary at MTU Zhuhai. At GAMECO he is also member of the Party Committee and Vice Secretary of the Party.
