GAMECO Qingyuan Branch-Yingfu Facility Successfully Obtained the Operation Approvals from the Authorities

Recently GAMECO Qingyuan Branch-Yingfu Facility has obtained the operation approvals from CAAC and FAA after their strict audits, representing the start of actual operation of GAMECO’s new strategic fulcrum- Boeing and Airbus Aircraft Landing Gear Overhaul Centre.

 

Due to the complex processes of landing gear overhaul and its importance in aircraft safety, both authorities have paid great attention to our application requests. The inspectors conducted careful and comprehensive review on the maintenance data, special tools and equipment, competence of the certifying staff, inspectors and supervisory personnel.

 

FAA has appointed senior inspectors Mr. John Hyndman and Deron Kong to audit all aspects related to the new facility. During the audit, FAA inspectors also introduced the FAA’s SAS system, by which the amount of surveillance may vary according to the workload, significance and risk impact of the work performed by a repair station. As a result, we may embrace more and more interactions and communications with the authorities as our business grows bigger and stronger.
