GAMECO Hosted National 147 Specialist Training Experience Exchange Activities for the First Time

China Civil Aviation Maintenance Association Working Committee attended a skills training instructors (ME) working experience exchange meeting in the training center of Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. for the first time on March 16 – 17,2016. The purpose of the meeting is to improve the quality of 147 basic skills training, establish basic skills training norms and skills training instructors’ evaluation assessment basis, and to form a relatively unified industry standards. More than 30 specialists from 16 147 training institutions throughout the country participated in the meeting.

 

The meeting consists of two parts: the first part is teaching demonstration. The participants were divided into several groups to join an open class, taught by senior instructor of GAMECO and designed to cover theory introduction and practice operation so that participants can thoroughly understand the content.

 

 

The second part is a phase for seminar, when specialists from each of the 147 maintenance organization spoke out freely and a lively discussion was carried out on how to assess the ability of skills training instructors, establish assessment standards for skill training instructors, and how to set ME subjects and 147 outline. Participants finally reached consensus on the topics and constructive comments were to be submitted to the 147 Working Committee for further discussion.

 

Liu Taoran , secretary of CCAR147 training institutions working committee, and director in charge of members organizations also highly affirmed the meeting, hoping that such communication can provide a platform to better the growth and development of maintenance association.

 

This is the first time that GAMECO held national specialists experience-exchanging activities. GAMECO training center did a lot of meticulous preparations for the meeting, including meeting process, teaching demonstration, seminar projects selection and administrative and logistical support etc. A comprehensive rehearsal for the whole activities was implemented afterwards to guarantee that the meeting is held successfully, which laid a good foundation for future hosting of such national working experience exchange activities in GAMECO.
