CBC Successfully Developed A320 Condenser Overhaul Capacity

After two-year’s efforts, Component Business Center (CBC) has successfully developed A320 condenser overhaul capacity, which has already been put into use and also won the first prize in Scientific and Technological Projects at GAMECO.

 

The establishment of condenser overhaul capability will generate direct profits of at least two hundred thousand dollars per year and open up the market for heat exchanger overhaul. CBC shops will continue developing heat exchanger overhaul capacity for other aircraft types and models.

 

Many different trades are involved in condenser overhaul, like Pneumatic, welding, turnery, NDT, and surface treatment, which has high requirements for personnel qualification and technology. Due to technical restriction by OEM, GAMECO has to self-design and fabricate the equipment and tools, to set up DMDOR work process and to replace core according to the manuals.

 

In order to ensure quality, improve efficiency and optimize work process in the shops, CBC has already placed orders for band sawing machine, grinding stand, sand-blasting machine and cutters, etc. CBC has also set up production line for ALODINE surface treatment.
