Joint Postgraduates and Excellent Engineers Training Base Built By Civil Aviation University of China and GAMECO

On Nov 11th, 2013, an agreement to set up a Postgraduates and Excellent Engineers Training Base was signed by Civil Aviation of China and GAMECO, followed by the unveiling ceremony of the cooperation. Dong Jiankang, vice-principal of Civil Aviation of China and Norbert Marx, GM of GAMECO, signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties. Zhou Kaixuan, Deputy Director General of CAAC Flight Standard Division, and Dong Suguang, vice-president of China Southern Airlines and Chairman of GAMECO attended the ceremony.

 

According to the agreement, the training base applies double-tutor mode. Postgraduates and excellent engineers will carry out practical training and paper research in training base after course learning in university.

 

With knowledge of aviation education discipline, professional faculty and labs, etc., Civil Aviation of China specializes in cultivation of aviation personnel. And GAMECO has over 20-year’s experience with specific demands for aviation personnel and practice environment for students. Additionally, GAMECO requires more technical innovation to gain the market share. Through this corporation, University and GAMECO can achieve win-win situation.

 

GAMECO always pays close attention to corporation with colleges and universities, like the ‘3+1”plan with Civil Aviation of China and Guangdong Industrial University since last year, and ‘Production, Study, Research, Practice’ System Construction with South China University of Technology in the past few years. Civil Aviation of China also issued letters of appointment to 10 senior executives and engineers of GAMECO as extramural academic advisors.
