GAMECO Announces Authorized Repair Station Agreement with ITT Aerospace Controls LLC

Guangzhou, Nov. 4, 2013 --- Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering Company, Ltd. (GAMECO) signed an Authorized Repair Station Agreement with ITT Aerospace Controls LCC（ITTAC）, a subsidiary of ITT. Under the terms of the agreement, GAMECO will serve as an authorized repair station in China for a number of parts installed on the rapidly growing fleet of B737and other platforms such as B757, B767 and B777 to enhance the level of support for airlines in China. The Part Numbers to be repaired and overhauled at the GAMECO Guangzhou facilities are commonly used on almost the entire Boeing and Airbus fleets. GAMECO will gradually introduce additional products to support the entire ITT portfolio for additional aircraft applications including the B787 and A350.

 

Mr. Norbert Marx, General Manager, GAMECO, signed the contract on behalf of GAMECO.During the signing ceremony Norbert stated: “This contract is going to serve as a Milestone in advancing our in-house capabilities in order to serve all of our customers with a turnkey product of the best quality, TAT and pricing. The part numbers chosen represent a customized product offering for the Chinese market, improving serviceability and reliability to our Chinese customers. The signing of this agreement is evidence that the growing confidence and trust that ITT as major Aerospace OEM has towards GAMECO.”

 

ITT recently visited GAMECO for an audit and further discussions in regards to the product integration. Sable Arega-Hutton, Director, Sales and Product Management, attended the meeting stated, “The relationship with GAMECO presents an excellent opportunity for ITT to provide superior service to operators in the region. Taking care of our airline operators is at the core of ITT’s overall strategy. We think this relationship will bear fruit well into the future”.
