Roof lifting of GAMECO Hangar 2# accomplished successfully

On the morning of Jan 15, 2013, a milestone was reached, when the space frame steel roof of GAMECO Hangar #2 was lifted as scheduled. Norbert Marx, GM of GAMECO and the management team attended the ceremony.

 

The lifting of the roof is successful to 20m above the ground, covering an area of 15,500m2 (spanning 184m and with depth of 84m), weighing about 1,800 tons. The accomplishment of the integral lifting guarantees the scheduled entry into service of GAMECO Hangar 2# in the summer of 2013.
