GAMECO Winning the “Annual MRO” award of China Aviation Maintenance Red Crown Award Consecutively

On December 9-10, 2021, the 15th China Aviation Maintenance Summit (MRO China) was held in Xiamen. At this summit, GAMECO was granted”MRO of the Year”, which is the second time that GAMECO won this award since 2020.

 

 

Mr. Norbert Marx, General Manager of GAMECO, received the award on behalf of the company and made a speech in appreciation of the recognition and encouragement of the industry.

 

 

Mr. Marx was invited as a guest to deliver an opening speech for the conference.  “GAMECO keeps developing new capabilities of A380, A350, B787 and ARJ21 to grow capacity and efficiency and improve qualifications. GAMECO is not only a MRO, but also a training, design and manufacturing organization approved by CAAC, FAA and EASA.  Our new supersize Phase III Hangar with 1 mio sqft construction area will be put into operation at the end of this year.  We are also building up new maintenance campus with CBC and CRC – all state of the art.”, said Mr. Marx.  “We have to continue with our efforts. Our strategy  is built on a strong workforce, international relations, digitalization, OEM cooperation and customer focus.”

 

 

“China has done an excellent job in the fight against covid.  Although the industry was hit hard, we will come out of this pandemic stronger than before.  We see already more lease return checks and cargo conversions in our hangars.”

Mr. Bob Peng, director of GAMECO Marketing & Sales Department, also delivered a keynote speech on "GAMECO's Boosting Common Development through Cooperation and Integration" at the conference .

 

 

With the theme of "innovation driven development, cohesion, integration and win-win new development in the 14th five year plan", the MRO China 2021 carried out discussions and exploration on hot topics drawing concerns from airlines and MROs in China. At present, MRO China has become an important communication platform for the civil aviation maintenance industry once a year, which has played a positive role in promoting the development of the industry.
