Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company Limited (GAMECO), established in October 1989, is a joint venture between China Southern Airlines Co. Ltd., South China International Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd. and Hutchison Aircraft Maintenance Investment Ltd. from Hong Kong. The company specializes in aircraft and airborne component maintenance, repair and overhaul. Since its establishment in 1989, GAMECO has achieved many great Developments. The number of employees has grown from 600 in the 80s to more than 2400 in 2005. As an MRO jointly approved by CAAC, FAA, EASA and several other aviation authorities, GAMECO is capable of performing multi-levels aircraft maintenance checks. The company owns a state-of-the-art Component Business Center, providing extensive component repair and overhaul capability to support its world-class schedule commitment. |

GAMECO's new hangar at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the largest truss structure hangar in China. Covering 96,000 square meters of space, the 400m long by 133 m wide hangar can accommodate four wide body aircrafts (2 Airbus A380 and 2 Boeing 747), or twelve narrow body aircrafts (such as Boeing 757/737 or Airbus A320) undergoing maintenance simultaneously. With our new first-rate facilities and a team of devoted staffs, GAMECO continues to strive for excellence and perfection in the 21st century. |
